Christmas cards make the best gifts!

I've always been a believer that telling someone how much you love and appreciate them during the holiday season is the best gift you could give!

That's why Christmas cards are so special! Not only do you get to share great pictures that will make perfect memories, but you can drop a line about what that person means to you, since we usually go all year long without doing do so!

Christmas cards are simple and can be pretty expensive!

On Thanksgiving after dinner my family went outside for some fresh air. I found that to be the perfect opportunity to get out the camera and snap away!

The pictures or camera don't have to be professional! Instead of going for the traditional posed shot, go for something candid, I think they capture more personality! And remember the best lighting is natural!
,
Here are some of the shots I took!

I edit all my photos in Picasa, but there are other really cool editing sites. Picnik, photobucket and for the advanced photoshop!

I really only focus on contrast, color and saturation. Bringing out the color and making the pictures pop!

In Picasa, it's really easy because there is auto contrast and color! (I take the easiest way possible!)

In Picasa go to create, then picture collage

You can find a background on the internet, or just use your pictures!

I'm going to use a background I already have!

Load the picture on the screen and under background options click use image

Next is the fun part, picking the pictures to create your card and adding the text!

You can have your pictures printed just about anywhere that prints pictures! On the back write a personal note and there you go! Easy and a gift to also remember!
(The best part is they can't exchange it for anything!)

Here are some of our Christmas cards from prior years!

Happy Holidays and have a great Tuesday!

Don't forgot about the fab bag giveaway going on!!
